Grafton- Ghost Town

This past Saturday we went to Grafton with our adventurous friends.  The kids thought it was a little boring, but I think they had fun.  Kolson was so excited to go to a ghost town.  He asked me earlier that day if he could bring a shovel to dig them up and if it was okay for him to talk to the ghosts.  I'm assuming most kids would be freaked out a bit if you told them you were going to a ghost town.  Not him.  He's always been a little odd that way.  When he was a baby until the time he was about three-years-old he would really freak us out.  He would stare off to nowhere and point like something or someone was there.  Maybe it's because we lived in really old houses in Alaska?  I don't know, but it was beyond creepy!  Braxton wasn't with us on this trip, he chose to go to Grandma and Grandpa's house to chop tree limbs with a machete.  Go figure!  And it wouldn't have been complete with out ice cream in Springdale afterwards.  

New Year, New Start

I figured it's time to get back to blogging.  My last post was in 2011.  I decided to start a brand new blog to start this new chapter in our life.  The past is the past, good and bad and I don't want to have it haunting us anymore!  So here's to the new year!  New goals, bigger family, and more adventures awaiting us!  Happy New Year's to all of you!  I hope you enjoy our new blog and are able to keep up with what's going on with us.
